Brain Break/PB4L Lesson:
This great clip provided an awesome class discussion on our school values (Respect, Relationships, Honesty & Learning).
We have discussed as a class that they think that brain breaks using inspiring videos would improve their motivation and drive to try new things and further their own learning.
Activity:
I had my class rule one of their pages into 4 squares.
We watched the clip and I had my class record down as many examples of the values they could spot (they have had practice with this before with 'The Croods').
Students then went onto their blogs and began to share their examples, this fostered a lot of classroom discussion and sharing of the values they saw.
Students will now find their own motivating or inspiring clip to share.
